In brief
- The site code adds no advertising pixels or marketing analytics.
- Private access can require hosting and authentication cookies.
This website
The site’s own code does not install advertising pixels or third-party analytics, and it does not embed third-party media. Demo queries and interface settings are held in the current page’s memory and are not saved. The only thing the site saves in your browser is your answer to the privacy notice (localStorage key “sfx-privacy”), so the notice is not shown again; it contains no identifier.
Cloudflare, which hosts the website, may use strictly necessary security cookies to protect it from abuse. The beta form and the website’s own statistics set no cookies and store nothing on your device.
Cookie inventory and provider information
Hosting/authentication behaviour must be reviewed independently from the website’s source code.
A final notice will distinguish strictly necessary access/security storage from any optional measurement or marketing technology. A consent banner will be introduced if non-essential technologies requiring consent are added; nothing optional will be treated as accepted simply because you browse.
Cookies in the current app
The app does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. When you use Freesound or a pasted download link, the destination service may return cookies that macOS stores and sends back to that same service for subsequent requests. Those services’ policies apply.
External source webpages open in your browser. The current app does not display those websites as an embedded browser.
Your choices
Use the website’s sound control to mute workflow audio and the demo’s sound control to disable interface tones. These are playback settings, not cookie-consent choices.
The privacy notice shown on your first visit lets you stop the website’s anonymous visit counter on this browser by choosing “Don’t count my visits”. To change your answer, clear this site’s data in your browser. The counter also stops automatically when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
You can inspect, delete, or block cookies in your browser. It does not delete app files on your computer.
Changes and contact
If optional analytics, embedded media, advertising, or similar tools are added, their processing and consent requirements will be addressed before activation.
Email support and privacy requests to support@sfxlbuilder.com, or send a private message through the contact page. The Support page explains what to include. The website has two forms, the optional beta form and the contact form, both described in the Privacy Policy. There is no file-upload service.
